Antiracism in Teaching, Certificate of Achievement (COA)

This Certificate of Achievement in Antiracist Teaching is designed to address the incredible need that exists within all care and education settings to best prepare teachers to address the needs of the children and families they serve. Goals for this COA are to help teachers create accepting, positive environments for children and families, to create developmentally appropriate expectations, to reduce a nationwide epidemic of preschool expulsion of BIPOC children, to develop relationships with families that will empower them to advocate for their child over a lifetime, and to identify systemic racism and advocate for systemic changes.
Conservative estimates of students who will be able to complete this COA are 30 per year.
