Eligibility: To be eligible for enrollment in the program, the student must meet the following criteria:

Be a registered plumbers and pipe-fitters apprentice.

Plumbers and pipe-fitters are in high demand. The Plumber and Pipe-fitters industry is not able to

hire the amount of employees needed to fill the work force and meet the needs of the industry.

Students that are in this apprenticeship program are currently working in the plumbing industry.

demonstrate proper welding skills per industry standards.

interpret blueprint drawings and welding symbols.

classify piping layouts.

create isometric drawings of piping systems.

identify piping and fixture support.

PLUMB 100 Introduction to the Trade 4.5

PLUMB 110 Plumbing Science, Fixtures, and Rigging 4

PLUMB 120 Gas Welding and Brazing 2

PLUMB 121 Basic Arc Welding and Drawings 4

A minimum of 8 units from the following: 

PLUMB 298 Work Experience in Plumbers and Pipefitters Apprenticeship (1 - 4)

Total Units: 22.5
