Business and Data Analytics Certificate Program

Program Requirements

This program is a comprehensive program in Business and Data Analytics. It includes 4 courses

1. CIS-120 Business Analytics Fundamentals.

2. CIS-122 SQL for Analytics

3. CIS-123 Data Visualization with Tableau

4. CIS-124 Introduction to Statistics for Analytics.

This program places students in the San Jose community on a fast-track to obtain a job as a Data Analyst using state of the art technologies and tools such as Tableau. 

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Develop a strong understanding of Analytics in a business context.
2. Identify the role and structure of relational databases as they apply to Data Analytics.
3. Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau in the context of business and data analytics.
4. Develop Statistics techniques and skills to perform data analysis on real-world data using tools such as Google Sheets andPython.
