This Program meets the minimum training requirements established by the California Peace Officers Standards and Training for Public Safety Officers for law enforcement supervisors.  This Certificate is designed to help prepare students to oversee and supervise line officers in all aspects of law enforcement including custody and investigations.

Program Goal

The Public Safety Certificate of Achievement in Supervision is designed to prepare students to meet the needs of mid-level entry positions in the supervision field of law enforcement.  The curriculum provides students with a foundation in law enforcement and the necessary information to oversee and supervise line officers.  The skills developed in these classes will enhance the student's knowledge in the criminal justice system and provide an in-depth understanding of supervision policy and procedures in all aspects of law enforcement.
