This certificate is a "stackable" with a degree already recommended by BACCC on 1/17/19. We have finally received all the articulations for those courses and have determined that it would be good for students to have access to a certificate option.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
Las Positas College offers a program that is related. The proposed DVC degree program is an blend of two programs currently offered at DVC and will offer a new option for our current students. There is no impaction of other programs anticipated. Vicki Shipman from LPC was contacted on 1/7/19 and is in support. Additionally, there is a program at Los Medanos College. Nikki Moultrie and Nancy Ybarra at LMC were contacted on 1/7/19. To date there has not been a response from LMC.
