The Photo Foundations Certificate of Achievement is designed to instruct students in the principles of digital capture of composition Natural, Available, Continuous, and Strobe light and its development. It will develop principles pf composition and aesthetics. It will provide opportunity to create and capture lighting schemes for skill achievement and portfolio development.

This certificate embraces the acquisition of foundational skills; manual digital camera operation, computer management of image data, composition, and the expanded understanding of light. It anoints the achievement of a level of performance where the student is a true photographic asset to the community and places the student confidently in a position for further study and entry level commercial work. It is an opportunity to study photography to a sophisticated level without the time commitment and extra topical capacities of a full AA Degree or Professional lighting

Item 1. Program Goals andObjectives
This certificate embraces an acquisition of foundational skills; manual digital camera operation, computer management of image data, composition, and an expanded understanding of light. It places the student confidently in a position for further Pro class study and entry-level work. It is an opportunity to study photography to a sophisticated level without the time commitment and extra topical capacities of a full AA Degree or Pro Lighting CA.
Program Outcomes
1. Students will demonstrate proficiency with digital capture and development.
2. Students will model professional and ethical behavior while communicating with clients, management, and team members.
3. Students will demonstrate technical problem solving skills to determine the best solutions to creative challenges.

Item 4. Master Planning
This degree represents a solution to employment needs in the ongoing and growing field of the Photography industry. The courses consist of encountering and integrating a variety of lighting types and styles, developing acuity with digital capture, subsequent development of files and their export in service of client needs. The certificate allows for entry-level placement and/or more advanced study.
