The Photo Foundations Certificate of Achievement is designed to instruct students in the principles of digital capture of composition Natural, Available, Continuous, and Strobe light and its development. It will develop principles pf composition and aesthetics.  It will provide opportunity to create and capture lighting schemes for skill achievement and portfolio development.

Program Goal

This certificate embraces the acquisition of foundational skills; manual digital camera operation, computer management of image data, composition, and the expanded understanding of light. Item 1. Program Goals andObjectives

 

This certificate embraces an acquisition of foundational skills; manual digital camera operation, computer management of image data, composition, and an expanded understanding of light. It places the student confidently in a position for further Pro class study and entry-level work. It is an opportunity to study photography to a sophisticated level without the time commitment and extra topical capacities of a full AA Degree or Pro Lighting CA.

 

Program Outcomes

                1. Students will demonstrate proficiency with digital capture and development.

                2. Students will model professional and ethical behavior while communicating with                                           clients, management, and team members.

                3. Students will demonstrate technical problem solving skills to determine the best                                           solutions to creative challenges.
