This Small Business Accounting program covers the accounting concepts that pertain to small businesses. Students interested in this course would gain technical skills required for individuals who intend to maintain accounting books for small businesses.

Program Proposal Attributes
- Certificate of Achievement: 8 to fewer than 16 semester (or 12 to fewer than 24 quarter) units (B)
The Small Business Accounting certificate will add accounting skills to individuals who feel it could be useful in the operation of there daily business or an entrepreneur who provides accounting services geared towards small businesses.
Completion of the program will cover the following learning outcomes for students:
1) Accounting concepts pertaining to financial accounting for small business,
2) General ledger accounting
3) Computerized accounting skills
