Catalog Description

This program is designed to prepare the student for employment as a website designer or  developer. A Certificate of Achievement can be obtained upon completion of the 24-unit major listed below. The Associate in Science Degree may be obtained by completing a total of 60 units, including the major, general education requirements, and electives. All courses in the major must be completed with a grade of C or better or a P if the course is taken on a pass-no pass basis.

Program Goal

This is a CTE occupational program. 

Based on all available data,there appears to be an under supply of Web Design and Development workers compared to the demand for this cluster of occupations in the Bay region and in the North Bay sub-region (Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma Counties). The gap is about 2,730 students annually in the Bay region and about 250 in the North Bay sub-region.
