The Calibration and Instrumentation Technician Apprentice Certificate Program is designed for individuals hired as apprentices by member employers of the Stanislaus County Area Manufacturing and Maintenance Joint Apprenticeship Committee. The program is designed so that an employer hires the apprentice, and the apprentice increases his/her occupational skills and knowledge through On-The-Job Training at the employer site while attending specific college courses approved as related supplemental instruction at Modesto Junior College.

Program Proposal Attributes
- Certificate of Achievement: 16 or greater semester (or 24 or greater quarter) units (C)
The Calibration and Instrumentation Technician Apprentice Certificate Program is designed to prepare apprentices/students for a career in the monitoring, testing, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and equipment. In order to qualify for this certificate, apprentices/students need to be employed by a “Member Company” of the local area Apprenticeship Committee and be indentured with the State of California as an apprentice. Successful apprentices/students will receive vocational training in a variety of courses to prepare them for a successful career in manufacturing and/or maintenance.

Course Report
To earn a Calibration and Instrumentation Technician Apprentice Certificate of Achievement, the student must complete 8 of the required courses. Each Course must be completed with a “C” or better.
