Catalog Description

This Early Childhood Education Site Supervisor Certificate of Achievement is designed for students interested supervising a child care and development program operating at a single site; provides services in the care, development and instruction of children in a child care and development program, and serves as a coordinator of curriculum and development. This certificate, when combined with completing the requirement for an AS-T degree and appropriate work experience, enables the student to be able to apply to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for a Child Development Permit at the Site Supervisor Level and also enables the holder to apply to be a California Mentor Teacher.
