The Business Information Technology Quick Start Certificate offers students the ability to gain and/or update skills in current technology used in the workplace. It is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of fields and businesses. Completion of the Business Information Technology Quick Start Certificate is the first tier of the Business Information Technology Levels 1 & 2 pathways.

Program Goal

The Business Information Technology Quick Start Certificate was created to align with the state Business Information Worker (BIW) CCC Model Curricula that was approved in August 2018.The BIW pathway was developed with employer input and teaches the top skills needed by businesses that employ office professionals. The pathway stages teach entry-level to advanced administrative skills and prepare students to obtain related industry certifications.
