Goal of Program

CTE

Include any other information you would like to share.
This program is designed to give the students the skills to work and earn a living wage quickly. However, the courses included in this program can also be applied to an AS Degree in Automotive Technology and the units are transferable.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
City College of San Francisco has courses that are similar, but not identical. The contact hours and depth of instruction and practical exercises are considerably less. City College San Francisco does not offer a specific program certificate in this area of study. Nick Rothman, Coordinator of the CCSF Automotive program was contacted on April 25, 2019. His response was "I see no conflict with my program" dated April 25, 2019.
