Automotive Body and Climate Control Technology

Automotive Technology (094800)

Advanced body controls, electrical, electronics, scan tools, hybrid technology theory, heating, cooling, air conditioning, ventilation systems and controls. System operation, analysis and diagnosis of these systems are stressed.
This course is offered once every other school year. Enrollment for this course is limited to 24 students. We project 24 completions every other year.

- This program requires that the student pass a college entry level placement test placing the students at a college ready math and English skill level.
- The student then complete one of two possible automotive fundamentals courses. Auto 710 or Auto 711.
- Once the student meets college ready math and English and has passed one of the automotive fundamentals classes the student can enroll in Auto 546 Body Control Systems.

I reattached the LMI report. Also, status of outreach to CCSF. Nick Rothman, San Francisco City College Trade Skills Department Chair was contacted on April 25, 2019 and replied "I see no conflict with my program."
