This program is step one towards becoming afully qualified journey level Manufacturing Technician who has theability to manufacture high precision parts out of a wide variety of materialsusing all types of conventional machine tools.
PROGRAM LEARNINGOUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:
- Apply industry standardsafety practices and specific safety requirements for different machiningoperations.
- Produce precision partsout of a variety of conventional machine tools.
- Demonstrate general manufacturing technical practices and procedures, that are applicableto all sectors of manufacturing.
