Include any other information you would like to share.
The Computer Technical Support Certificate of Achievement is the result of business needs assessment, which was informed by CNIT employer advisory panel, market analysis, and overall program review. Keeping up with workforce training needs in the realm of computer technical support is primary to the mission, curriculum, and master planning of the college and higher education in California.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
Of the colleges in the Service Area, Monterey Peninsula College offers an IT Help Desk and User Support Certificate of Achievement. Given the distance between the schools and the local demand for computer technical support, there is no impact on our offering this course of instruction, and vice-versa.
