Include any other information you would like to share.
All of the courses in this program are also in the longer Certificate of Achievement, Automotive Collision Repair Technology (ACRT), Master Collision Repair program. The COA, ACRT, Master Collision Repair program has previously been recommended by the BACCC. This will be a shorter certificate offering for students to concentrate on Structural and Nonstructural Damage Repair alone. This proposed program, ACRT Structural and Nonstructural Damage Repair COA, is a subset of classes of the Master Collision Repair COA. It will offer a certificate with 16 units whereas the Master Collision Repair COA is a 36 unit offering.
Please list similar programs at other colleges in the service area which may be impacted, including the name of the college, the name of the program that may be impacted, the name of the person you contacted and the outcome of that contact.
San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa colleges are other institutions that offer certificates programs in Automotive Collision Repair in the Bay Region. College of Marin Automotive Technology and Automotive Collision Repair Technology programs are old programs in our region. All other colleges are aware of the Automotive Collision Repair Technology, Master Collision Repair.
