This Certificate of Achievement will provide students with a solid foundation in the areas of cybersecurity
and computernetworking. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs, or to help them advance into careers, such as Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Analyst, Professional Services, Network Administrator, Computer Support/Help Desk Technician, Computer Information Systems Manager, and Network Technician for a variety of industries including manufacturing, national security, finance, insurance, and health care. Topics covered will include computer networking fundamentals, computer and network security, ethical hacking principles and methodology, computer forensic techniques, Python scripting, Linux and Windows server administration, security policies and procedures, e-mail and Internet security, open source tools used to monitor and secure computer networks, and designing a secure computer network. The program includes hands-on and technical writing assignments to help students develop their skills for the cybersecurity workforce.
