  • Certificate of Achievement: 8 to fewer than 16 semester (or 12 to fewer than 24 quarter) units (B)
Program Goal

The Business program is creating a Human Resources Management Level II Certificate to fulfill the current and projected demand for people who might be interested in entering the human resources field directly out of Citrus College. This new certificate is supported by the Business Advisory Committee, which met on September 24, 2021, and the COE report dated October 2020.

There is an interest in and a need for creating a program for both transfer and nontransfer business students who may be looking for additional classes to further assist them in getting entry-level human resources positions, enhanced business-management knowledge, and/or first-line or mid-level supervisory positions. This certificate is designed to better prepare students (1) for internships and entry-level positions as well as supervisory positions in business and industry in the human resources field; and (2) to seek promotions and advancements with their current or future employers in that field.
