The Certificate of Achievement for Client/Server Programming is designed for students who have an interest in working with programming using the Python and Java languages, and using backend server side scripting with SQL (Structured Query Language), and Oracle. The program is also tailored for working professionals who might want to change careers as a software developer or a database developer.

- Certificate of Achievement: 8 to fewer than 16 semester (or 12 to fewer than 24 quarter) units (B)
The program goal for the Client/Server certificate is to train students in the area of software developing and SQL. Students will write SQL queries and manipulate data. Another program goal is to design relational tables. The student will extensively use Python, Java, SQL Server, and Oracle software.
