Catalog Description
The Microsoft Systems Administrator Certificate program will give students the advanced skills needed to learn how to install, configure and manage Microsoft client and server operating systems. Students will also learn enterprise services such as Active Directory and network infrastructure. Students who complete this program are eligible to test for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, an industry-recognized certification, and to continue their education with the Microsoft Systems Administrator Certificate from Las Positas College. Potential jobs include network administrator, computer technicians, IT infrastructure designer, IT consultant, SOHO installers, cabling technicians, computer auditors, and most jobs related to computer networks.
