The Advertising and Graphic Design certificate provides production knowledge and skills used by digital artists to perform a variety of production duties in advertising field. The certificate focuses on emerging technologies in the advertising field such as the integration of 3D technology and digital film. To earn a certificate, complete the required courses as listed with a minimum grade of “C”. At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College.

The Media Arts and Design department seeks to create a dynamic learning eco-system that prepares students for careers, position advancements and/or higher-level degrees through practical, real-world and community experiences in and out of the classroom. The Advertising and Graphic Design certificate provides production knowledge and skills used by digital artists to perform a variety of production duties in advertising field. The certificate focuses on emerging technologies in the advertising field such as the integration of 3D technology and digital film. Trough the required classes the students learn how to use tools to succeed in the ever-growing field of advertising. They will be able compete for jobs in the current demands of the market.
