The Modern Police Associate in Science is designed to fulfill a portion of the state requirements for future employment as a full time, sworn peace officer, while preparing students to continue studies toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in a discipline of their choosing. Students who pursue a Modern Police degree enjoy a wealth of career options in the field of law enforcement. They work in multiple areas including patrol, detectives, S.W.A.T., narcotics, reserves, K-9 handler, traffic, and more.
