The Electronics Certificate of Achievement is designed to prepare students for entry-level technical work with DC and AC circuits.

Program Goal

The Electronics Certificate of Achievement is designed to provide students with practical, career-oriented skills for technical environments using current industry technologies. Students receive hands-on experience in the fundamentals of AutoCAD, basic electronic circuit skills in addition to the basics of robotics.

The Certificate of Achievement is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) certificate designed for students who are interested in engineering but may lack the mathematical fortitude. It is also aimed to serve those in the community who work in technical industries looking to learn new skills.

Electronics Certificate of Achievement Goals:

1 – Provide a quality education that will prepare students to become entry-level electronic circuit technicians.

2 – Prepare students to become successfully employed in the tech and manufacturing industry.

3 – Instruct students to become technicians to work with engineers and designers.

The required core courses in this program may be completed quickly and in two sequential semesters. The DC Circuit Analysis courses are to be taken in sequential eight-week courses in one semester.
