The Business Management Associate in Science Degree is a natural progression beyond the Business Management Certificate of Achievement and will provide today's business professional an additional layer of preparedness, providing the robust management skills training necessary to function successfully in a high-paced, high-tech, results-oriented business environment. Graduates will be well-prepared to enter a rapidly growing field with the confidence that they have received the knowledge and training sought by 21st-century employers. Business managers are being actively recruited every day by all industry sectors including government, high-tech, education, retail, hospitality, service, and big and small business.

The Business Management Associate Degree in Science is designed to provide the student with training in a complete set of employment skills for mid-level management positions in a variety of fields-- education, healthcare, government, and social services as well as the finance, insurance, retail, high-tech, and hospitality industries. Business managers continue to be in constant demand, providing management support to businesses both large and small in the College’s service region.
Students completing this degree will have built a comprehensive, work-ready skill set that includes training in areas such as human resources, project, accounting, organizational, strategic, and marketing management; as well as an overview of the legal environment of business. Graduates will have mastered communication skills appropriate to the business environment and will have business math competency, self-confidence, and will know how to effectively champion collaborative teamwork.
