Catalog Description

The Applied Drone Technology in Design program focuses on the use of drones as an effective tool in the design process for the civil, architectural, construction and inspection disciplines. In addition, this program provides an introduction to the design of drones (and their parts) in support of specialized applications. Traditional computer aided design and drafting standards are used to integrate the use of drones into traditional, new, and emerging design methods; including the integration of point cloud, AR/VR, NDVI analysis, and parametric design.
