Catalog Description

This program is recognized by I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Automotive Collision Repair career technical education institutions. It includes course work in practical and advanced level skills for employment as a professional in the industry. To earn a certificate students must complete:  (1) all major course requirements with a grade of C or better.  At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 34-35 units.

Enrollment Completer Projections

20-25 students annually.   According to the LAOC LMI data, "In Los Angeles/Orange County, the number of jobs related to these occupations is projected to decrease by 8% through 2025. However, there will be nearly 600 job openings per year through 2025 due to retirements and workers leaving the field...therefore...the COE endorses this proposed program."
