Program Goal

The Street Rod Construction Certificate will provide students with knowledge, skills and abilities in street rod construction/automotive collision repair as well as other related occupations in the automotive industry. The goal of this certificate is to provide students with the necessary theory and hands on experience required such as design and construction of frame, chassis systems, body repair and refinishing.Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be ready for employment advancement in the automotive restoration, custom build,fabrication, and automotive collision repair. This is a vocational instructional program and is, therefore, aligned with the California Community Colleges mission as defined in CAL., ED. CODE & 66010.4{a} 1.
