This certificate is designed for students pursuing a focused pathway in programming and software development. This certificate prepares students for continued study in computer science or entry-level programming roles in software development, application support, or Quality Assurance testing. When completed, students will demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing software solutions using object-oriented programming techniques. They will also be able to apply foundational concepts in data structures and discrete mathematics to solve computational problems and analyze and evaluate the performance of software programs using appropriate tools and theoretical concepts.
