Catalog Description

The User Experience (UX) Design certificate program is designed to prepare students for an entry-level position in the UI/UX field. UX plays a vital role in the effectiveness of digital media and interfaces, and this program gives students the theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become an asset in any design team. In this program, students learn how to design, code, and evaluate digital interfaces using UX principles and processes such as prototype and persona development, basic HTML and CSS coding, and usability considerations.

This program is unique in the region.in that it provides web development fundamentals but puts an emphasis on user-centered design thinking.

This program provides students with the knowledge necessary to obtain an entry level position in user experience design.
