The Electronics Technician II Certificate will provide prospective students with advanced expertise and hands-on experience working, troubleshooting, and servicing complex electronic systems such as telecommunication systems, avionics, control systems, robotics, mechatronics, and microcontroller-based systems.
We anticipate 12 or more-annual completers beginning December 2022
Program Proposal Attributes
- Certificate of Achievement: 16 or greater semester (or 24 or greater quarter) units (C)
Electronics Technician II Certificate of achievement is a follow up to our Electronics Technician I Certificate of achievement; it was developed to give working students the opportunity to advance their careers and job skills by taking more advanced courses as requested by our advisory board. It will provide employees at General Atomics and VVC students with extra specialized skills to advance and meet the requirements of the more advanced job opportunities needed in many industries in the surrounding High Desert such as the aviation industry, warehousing, industrial factories, and distribution centers.
