Catalog Description
This certificate program is designed for those students seeking to gain a broad law-based perspective in their Administration of Justice studies. By the addition of a basic business law course to the core Administration of Justice curriculum, students will obtain knowledge appropriate for administrative and law-based employment positions within both the criminal justice field and the private sector. Also, students anticipating employment in the legal field would draw value from exposure to courses within this certificate program, especially to the overarching characteristics of the law and vocabulary specific to legal occupations. Certificates are particularly valuable for those employment positions within the criminal justice system requiring a high school diploma or GED certificate only.
