The Emergency Medical Technician 1: Basic Training certificate of achievement is designed to meet the Department of Transportation, National Registry of EMTs, and State of California requirements for certification as an EMT-Basic (Ambulance) crew member. The basic training certificate prepares students to care for patients in the pre-hospital setting. Students must pass with a score of 76% or better to achieve the award.
We project 20-30 students will earn this certificate annually.

- Certificate of Achievement: 8 to fewer than 16 semester (or 12 to fewer than 24 quarter) units (B)
