The Business Management Associate in Science Degree is designed to prepare students for employment in a business capacity. The focus of the program is skill building in the areas of communication, decision-making, planning, organizing, and evaluating. Emphasis on problem solving, leadership, and critical thinking skills is stressed to prepare students for employment and or transfer to a four year college or university. This degree requires 24-28 units.

The Business Management Associate in Science Degree is designed to meet occupational and transfer education goals by preparing students for careers in business operations, administration, supervision, and organizational management across a wide range of industries. The program develops practical and transferable skills in operations management, leadership, communication, finance, project management, customer service, workflow management, and business strategy aligned with current workforce needs throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. According to the Orange County Center of Excellence Labor Market Analysis, there are projected to be more than 9,900 annual openings in related business management occupations within the region, with strong employer demand for skills such as operations management, leadership, communication, finance, project management, and data-driven decision-making. The program also supports lifelong learning and transfer preparation for students pursuing continued education in business administration, management, organizational leadership, and related disciplines.
